Grundfos Water Pumping Sytems

CR vertical multistage centrifugal inline pumps- Surface Pump

Overview

The Grundfos CR vertical, multistage,  centrifugal in-line pump family works for water supply, water treatment  and almost any industrial solution – including those for high-pressure,  hot, dangerous, flammable and aggressive liquids.

Now, the range  has been upgraded with a new, more robust generation of CR pumps (CR 95,  CR 125 and CR 155), offering an optimised hydraulic design for  world-class energy efficiency.
Thanks to a small footprint, the pumps are also easier and less costly to
install  than comparable pumps. The new CR pumps have been developed using  simulation-driven design to perfect every single component and have been  field-tested around the world, so you can install and operate the range  with
total confidence.

The CR is available in millions of different configurations through four modules:

  • Motors
  • Shaft seals
  • Pump modules
  • Connections.

We offer a “mix and match” modular approach. In Grundfos Product Center
(GPC) we offer a large variety of CR pumps. Further, you can utilise the
configurator to customize the solution to your specific application.

We  offer a “mix and match” modular approach, so you can configure a pump  that meets your exact needs. We test, qualify and document all modules,  just like we do for any standard Grundfos pump.

The basic CR pump  range is available in four different materials: cast iron, two grades of  stainless steel and titanium. Thirteen flow sizes are capable of  producing up to 180 m3/h at 50 bar, with a variety of shaft seals, rubber materials and supply voltages.

We optimise pump parts that are typically vulnerable to difficult liquids or demanding operating conditions.

We also offer highly efficient “E” version pumps with a built-in frequency converter (CRE) or pumps with an external frequency converter (CUE). These combine the  very best of pump technology with highly efficient motors and variable  speed drives. You will never use more energy than you need.

Grundfos SQFlex 2.5-2 Submersible Pump

Grundfos SQFlex 2.5-2 Submersible Pump Motor, for horizontal and  vertical mounting, MSF3 1 x 90-240V, Rp 11/4 -10%/+6%, 50/60 Hz, 2m  motor cable with integrated MPP-tracking.

The SQFlex family is an environmentally-friendly water supply  system. SQFlex pumps are fitted with a permanent magnet motor which  enables the efficient use of energy from a wide range of supply options.  The pump system offers the perfect water supply solution in remote  areas where water is scarce and the power supply is non-existent or  unreliable.

Installing the SQFlex Solar requires no special tools as the solar  modules plug straight into the system. The SQFlex Solar can be run  economically and remains virtually maintenance-free.  Features:

  • Dry-running protection.
  • High efficeny permanet-magnet motor (PMmotr).
  • Over- and under voltage protection.
  • Overload protection.
  • Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT).
  • Wide voltage range.

RSI renewable solar inverter - three-phase pumps

Overview

The Grundfos Renewable Solar Inverter (RSI) is an off-grid solar inverter converting the DC power output from the solar panel to AC power supply for pump operation.
RSI can be used in both new and existing systems as long as the motor specs  are compatible and is suitable for use with a variable frequency drive.

RSI is AC and DC compatible. RSI can be connected to the grid or a generator as back-up power during solar panel disruptions.

Features and benefits

  • Maximum power point tracking (MPPT)
  • AC/DC compatibility
  • Setup wizard with Grundfos product library
  • Overvoltage and undervoltage protection
  • Overload protection
  • Overcurrent protection
  • Overtemperature protection
  • No-load protection.
  • Operating history memory
  • Detachable control panel
  • Enclosure class IP66

Application

The RSI is designed for continuous as well as intermittent operation. The system is
suitable for various water supply systems including irrigation.

The RSI can be used in existing systems with submersible pumps or dry-installed  pumps, thus providing a very wide range of applications allowing you to  leverage renewable energy sources with the ability to back up the  system with grid or generator power.
